What is the cost and can I get a discount?

The early bird cost for an adult is $200.00 if pre-registered by October 31st.  Youth, 16 and younger are free of charge.  Prices go up to $250 starting November 1st.

How many acres are singed up for Rooster Roundup?

We have over 65,000+ acres for prime pheasant hunting this year!

What do the funds go to?

The funds go to help the Burlington community with different projects that help improve the lives of the citizens that live in this community.  For 45 years we have helped with hundreds of projects to help make Burlington a better place.

When can I hunt if I sign up?

You can hunt throughout the entirety of the 2026/2027 season from November 14th - January 31st, 2027.

Do I have to be present on opening day to get my packet?

We will always be ready to welcome hunters on opening day to get them their packets and hats, but if you can’t make it that weekend do not fret.  Just go ahead and call one of the board members and we will direct you where to pick up your hunting map, parking passes and hats for a great hunt!  You are welcome to come back and hunt anytime with the Rooster Roundup Registration you paid for.

Are there any pheasants?

We have seen a lot of birds this year due to the amazing cover we had last year.  We are expecting a great hunting season!

Where is the best place to hunt?

Ask one of our board members and they can point you to where a lot of birds are :)
